The theme of the day is "An Open Door: Leading with hope." Pete's focus will be on that of his recent book, "A Door Set Open: Grounding Change in Mission and Hope." A congregation is more likely to be anxious-free if its focus is missional.

Steinke is an internationally respected congregational systems consultant who has also served as a parish pastor (ELCA), an educator, and a therapist for clergy.
He is the author of four books, the most recent, "A Door Set Open."
He has written for The Alban Institute, The Lutheran and numerous church related journals.
