Pr. June Fryman is requesting prayers for her Dad, Raleigh Gutapfel (pronounced "Good Apple") and her family.
Mr. Gutapfel had a stroke Thursday afternoon, and again Friday. He was transferred from Batesville, IN to University of Cincinnati hospital Friday evening.
His physical strength seems good; and they were encouraged yesterday when he was alert, seemed to recognize us and was trying to speak. Also, he was moved from ICU to another room.
He does have severe blockage in his carotid artery, and surgeons are trying to determine if it is a blood clot or other blockage so they know how to proceed with surgery.
Please pray for healing for Raleigh Gutapfel and peace for the family while they help with his recovery.
