The Ohio Council of Churches, in association with Ohio Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (Ohio VOAD), Toledo Area Ministries and Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, presents a free course titled: Spiritual and Emotional Care in Disasters.
The course provides basic tools and information for those working with people impacted by disaster. The workshop gives helpful guidelines as to what is appropriate to say/do based on the worker's previous experience.
Presenter is Sister Michael Marie, Disaster Services Coordinator for the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
