The Reverend Donald H. Moeser was recently presented with the Alumni Award in Specialized Ministry from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, PA. Rev. Moeser graduated from The Lutheran Theological Seminary in 1962.
The Rev. Moeser was nominated by his classmate, The Rev. John F. Seibert, II of Lexington, Kentucky. A letter of support gathered by Rev. Seibert was written by Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Chair of the African and African American Studies Department at Harvard University. Dr. Gates wrote, "I admire your tenacity and forthrightness; it is good to have you as an ally in the ongoing fight for education!"
