Know What to Expect During Portico’s Annual Enrollment

Now – October: Do you play a role in shaping your organization’s budget? If so, you may want to be at the table when decision-makers discuss which ELCA-Primary health benefit option to provide in 2018. Make sure your organization uses its Custom Comparison Report, now available on EmployerLink, to inform this decision.

Oct. 2 – 27: Your sponsoring organization selects its 2018 heath benefit option. Watch for an email from myPortico confirming your employer’s selection. Then, use your Enrollment Guide on myPortico to help you decide whether to enroll in your employer-provided health benefit option, buy up to a higher-priced option, or waive ELCA health benefits if you qualify by having other valid coverage.
 
Oct. 30 – Nov. 13: Enter your 2018 benefit selections on myPortico. Most members will make choices about health benefits, tax-advantaged accounts, life insurance, beneficiaries, and pretax retirement contributions. Find the details you need on myPortico.
