Stewardship Mission Moment

Mission Dollars At Work May

We currently have 26 congregations in the call process. All of this work is handled by Pr. Jeff Wick, Assistant to the Bishop, and Gabrielle Hudecek. We continue to see an increase in the numbers in the call process because of rostered minister retirements.

SOS Youth and Family Ministry

Faith Skills

Here are two items from the Faith Skills list that Gary builds into young people. He is able to come to your venue to lead a session and/or to train adults in your congregation to lead sessions on the following topics. To see all 40+ offerings visit http://southernohiosynod.org/aws/SOS/ pt/sp/youth_offer

1. Help your teens to know their purpose in life and pray through it daily
2. Help teens to understand their God given job description and to live it out daily

Youth Gathering T-Shirts...

Youth Summit 2018:

Our Synod has room for one more High School student and the adult spot is still available if you have an interest. Click Here for more information.  The summit brings young people together to learn about the wider church. It is an all expense paid trip and normally takes place the first Thursday-Sunday in November. This years event will be in Nebraska. Contact Gary if you have an interest.

Reminder! 'Blast Off for Books' collection at SOS Assembly--Don't miss out on this great way to serve the youth of Houston!

The books you donate will be distributed at community book fairs, camps and other events around the city as part of the Gathering's Service Learning experience. By putting books in the hands of Houston's economically disadvantaged students, you can help change lives.

If you wish to receive all of Gary's monthly information, please contact Gary Pecuch at gpecuch@southernohiosynod.org to be added to his distribution list.
