People of Puerto Rico as they recover from multiple earthquakes and aftershocks

We lift up the people of Puerto Rico and our brothers and sisters in the Florida-Bahamas Synod as they continue to endure aftershocks from multiple earthquakes this week. We pray for the safety of all and for the earthquakes to stop so rebuilding and recovery can begin.

We also lift up Pr. Laura Cavendish's nephew and his wife who are doing missions work in Puerto Rico. Pr. Cavendish said they are ok at this time and we thank God for their protection.

Right now, prayers are needed. Funds will be needed later. Please do not send money at this to help with recovery efforts. Once we know how Lutheran Disaster Response will be assisting with the recovery efforts, we will post information about when and how to send your financial support.
