Common Good Story #5: Uniting to fight addiction in our community

When the opioid epidemic hit Ohio particularly hard in the summer of 2018, churches were left grappling with how to respond. So a Lutheran-Roman Catholic task force was set up with the goal of helping congregations respond to the opioid epidemic.

Some good news from LWR in Beirut!

Three 40-foot shipping containers filled with thousands of mission quilts and school, personal and baby care kits, which reported as destroyed in the August 4 explosions at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, have been found intact.
