Improving Your Basic Photography Skills

The Summer Series is back!

This program is geared toward these key audiences: beginning photographers and those who are preparing to enter photographic competitions.

This is a perfect meeting to invite someone you know who is interested in learning more about the basics of taking better pictures.

Program: 7:30p - 9:00p 

Mike studied under various local photographers as a Darkroom Technician, Portrait Photographer, and Commercial Photographer while attending High School and College. After Serving in the US Army, Mike settled into a career as a Police Officer and Crime Scene Investigator/Photographer where he received formal training in Crime Scene Investigation, Crime Scene Photography, Accident Scene Photography, and Surveillance Photography.

Mike worked for Cord Camera where he was the Education Coordinator/Instructor for Cord University, a position from which he recently retired. 

Mike's photographic endeavors during 2007and 2008 included work as a judge for the Hocking Hills State Park "Shoot the Hills" Contest, the Columbus Metroparks Annual Photo Contest, and the Findlay Art League Photo 26 Contest.

He is also a member of The Columbus Zoo Docent Organization and currently serves as the President of the Westbridge Camera Club in Worthington, Ohio.
