As Co-Chair of the WF&FSA Emerging Leaders, I'd like to formally invite you to join us Wednesday, October 18th on our Miami Logistics tour.  The first stop on this tour takes us to two Queens Flowers locations, Bouquet Collection and 7000 Logistics. "Established in 1980, The Queen's Flowers is one of the leading importers and distributors of fresh-cut flowers in North America. We import more than 500 million stems per year, and have a product portfolio of 28 flower types under our exclusive product brand, Benchmark Growers." 

"Bouquet Collection has had the passion to exceed our customer expectations since 1985 when it was established in Miami, Florida. Today, our leading edge production facility is located in Doral, Florida and employs more than 100 people. We have grown to become a wholesale distributor of flower bouquets in North America, servicing national supermarkets, retailers, and e-commerce."

Following The Queens Flowers locations, we will be stopping by Flora Logistics. "Flora Logistics operates a 300,000 square foot facility, with more than 200,000 square feet of temperature controlled and humidity controlled space, 57,000 square feet of “dry” cargo space, and 40,000 square feet of office space. Flora Logistics is a 24/7, 365 days per year operation and has positioned itself as one of the top perishable handling companies in the industry."

I've become a big fan of the road trips as it gives us a unique behind the scenes look at some of our industries finest.  The road trip also gives you a great opportunity to network with some of our industry peer's during this trip. Remember to bring a jacket as all locations are refrigerated!
