Thomas E. Mosure, president and chairman of the board of ms consultants, inc., has been nominated to serve a two-year term as vice chairman of ACEC national.
Mosure has a long history of service to ACEC, both in Ohio and at the national level. He served as the state secretary-treasurer and vice president before becoming president of the state Council in 2001-2002. He has also served three two-year terms as ACEC Ohio's representative on the national ACEC Board of Directors.
Currently he is chair of the ACEC Ohio Political Action Committee and a member of the national association's Federal Agencies and Procurement Advocacy Committee and Design Professionals Coalition. For many years he has been ACEC Ohio's representative to the ACEC national Political Action Committee and a PAC Chairman’s Club member.
He is a member of the American Public Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University.
As a vice chairman, Mosure will be a member of the national Council's Executive Committee and will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the national Council and approximately half a dozen ACEC state Member Organizations.
