Breaking Through the AI Whiplash: Preserving the Human Edge in an AI-Driven Industry
with Ari Gunzburg
Session Description:
AI is already embedded in engineering workflows, from drafting tools to, in some cases, proposal development. The real disruption is the discrepancies with which firms respond to it. Some rush to adopt, perhaps without clear guardrails. Others hesitate out of uncertainty. Both reactions create strategic risk.
In this keynote, Ari explores how leaders can break through the noise of rapid innovation without fracturing culture, judgment, or client trust. Drawing from real-world examples and cross-industry parallels, he highlights where AI meaningfully enhances efficiency and where human expertise, ethics, and design judgment remain central.
The session also opens up practical leadership questions as food for future thought, such as: When should AI-generated content be disclosed? How does automation affect workforce development? How do firms plan for technology shifts while preserving mentorship, technical excellence, and professional standards?
Rather than predicting the future or prescribing specific tools, the session equips leaders with strategic perspective for making better decisions about AI adoption in their own firms. The focus is on competitive positioning, workforce planning, and leading teams through technological change without breaking the culture, trust, or human expertise that makes engineering firms valuable.

Ari Gunzburg
Ari Gunzburg is a keynote speaker, author, and coach who helps teams grow stronger through challenge, showing them how to navigate rapid AI disruption with clarity, confidence, and resilience. While many AI speakers focus on tools and tactics, Ari addresses what matters most: how people adapt, stay grounded, and maintain connection when technology reshapes their work.
Ari grew up surrounded by cutting-edge technology brought home by his tech-forward father. Today, Ari uses AI daily, from writing and planning to analysis and more. His sessions range from hands-on AI workflows to transformational keynotes on human potential and adaptability to change. His presentations are funny, interactive, and designed to give teams clarity and the confidence to break through AI disruption instead of breaking apart from it.
