CPHNO update

CPHNO recently joined the NAM Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the U.S. Health Sector. On behalf of CPHNO, representatives from ANHE and ACHNE drafted the commitment statement describing our collective PHN strength and support for climate action.

The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and Healthcare without Harm are two organizations sponsoring the Nurses Climate Challenge. Read more about the NCC movement, and use the toolkit for enhancing your courses with climate health concepts and materials to support student learning. The toolkit also contains resources for use with nursing leadership, administration, and faculty development.

In addition to this recent advocacy for climate health, CPHNO is working to implement the strategic plan through the newly formed bylaws committee, PHN workforce enumeration committee, and the development (infrastructure/funding) committee.

It’s time for ACHNE to contribute blog posts on the CPHNO website – during the month of June. Let's showcase the incredible work that ACHNE members are doing. Tell a story about your students, your communities, and your teaching experiences.
