Tweet: a social media message with up to 280 characters and graphics

1. Download the app

2. Set your account

• Select a user name, or "handle".
• Write a brief profile description, and add a professional image.

3. Compose your tweet

Click on the plus sign, then share professional activities, public health information, and conference details - be creative!

4. Add a hashtag

Hashtags allow others to find tweets on similar topics. Promote ACHNE by including #ACHNE at the end of your tweets, in addition to key subject headings, such as #PublicHealthNursing.

5. Support ACHNE & other nurses who tweet

Follow @ACHNEorg and nurses and "retweet" their messages! "Tag" tweets to directly share with others, using the @ symbol followed by their handle.
