The Bylaws Committee is a vital part of ACHNE. We are responsible for reviewing and updating the operational manual to ensure that it is in line with Robert's Rules of Order. This is an important task, as the operational manual is the governing document for our organization. It sets forth our policies and procedures, and it is essential that it is accurate and up-to-date.
The Bylaws Committee is a great opportunity to get involved in ACHNE and make a real difference. We welcome all members to participate, regardless of their experience or expertise.

For 2022, the Bylaws Committee added the Student Task Force Recommendations to the ACHNE Bylaws/Operational Manual which were approved on Nov. 5th, 2022, at the ACHNE committee board meeting during APHA.
For 2023, the Bylaws Committee has added new Awards language to the ACHNE Bylaws/Operational Manual which will be voted on during the June 5th, 2023, board meeting. On Feb. 28, 2023, a call-out was made to all committee board members to please email Kim Decker with suggested edits/additions to the Bylaws before May 15th.
