Dr. Jacqueline Hallauer, will present a 1-hr COPE accredited course titled "Through the ODs Lens: Clinically Identifying Diabetic Retinopathy".

This course reviews diabetic retinopathy pathophysiology, staging, and clinical findings while emphasizing comprehensive exams, imaging, patient education, and interdisciplinary care. Participants learn to identify, classify, and manage diabetic retinopathy using real patient cases and evidence based guidelines.

Dr. Jacqueline Hallauer is the Chief of the Optometry Service and Residency Coordinator at the Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Dr. Hallauer completed her OD degree at MCPHS University and her residency at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a VA Board Member for AFOS, an active contributor to the AOA Education Committee, and a frequent team chair for ACOE Accreditation visits. Dr. Hallauer is known for her energetic, practical, and highly engaging lectures, especially in the area of ocular disease.
