Dr. Williams graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry and then completed a Primary Care & Ocular Disease residency at the Columbus and Chillicothe VA Medical Centers. After working in the private sector at a surgery referral center specializing in Cornea, Refractive and Premium IOL surgery, he returned to the VA and currently practices at the Mansfield VA Outpatient Clinic associated with the Cleveland VA Medical Center. As Associate Chief, he supervises 11 outpatient clinics with 34 clinical staff throughout the VA Northeast Ohio network. He has given multiple lectures at the Cleveland VA Resident Conference and founded and maintains a student extern teaching program with OSU at his Mansfield clinic. He is a founding member and served as co-chair of the AFOS State Legislative Relations Committee. He has volunteered two trips to Mombasa, Kenya to deliver eye care and to coordinate a pastor training seminar.
Dr. Williams lives in Mansfield, OH and enjoys church, playing music and several other activities but, most of all, spending time with this wife and two-year-old son.
