ICBA Provides Summary of FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool

ICBA has prepared a summary of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Cybersecurity Assessment Tool, which provides financial institutions with a consistent method of informing management of their institution’s cybersecurity risk profile in relation to their preparedness. ICBA’s summary can assist community banks with understanding the purpose of the tool and how to best utilize it. While the assessment tool is currently voluntary, it is likely to be incorporated into bank exams later this year.

ICBA encourages community bank senior management and IT staff to review both the summary and tool and provide feedback to ICBA staff. View Summary Now.
