ICBA Briefing Community Bankers Ahead of Policy Meetings

Community bankers are in Washington this week for ICBA briefings and meetings with key policymakers. ICBA today is scheduled to brief roughly 60 Louisiana community bankers ahead of meetings with members of Congress and federal banking regulators.

On Thursday, ICBA’s Minority Bank Council will meet with ICBA staff ahead of a meeting with House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Maxine Waters (D-Calif.). That meeting is being held in conjunction with this week’s Interagency Minority Depository Institution and CDFI Bank Conference.

Also this week, Wisconsin Bankers Association President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels will visit ICBA’s Washington office for a Wednesday meeting with advocacy staff and staff from the ICBA Services Network.
