CSI Enhances Core Banking Capabilities with NuPoint App for iPad

PADUCAH, Ky., July 15, 2015 —As banks seek to transform the traditional customer experience through mobile devices, Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, has released a tablet-based app for its NuPoint® core system. The app allows bankers to enhance one-on-one interaction with their customers both inside the branch and out in the field.

Now available for iPad users through CSI and the Apple B2B store, the NuPoint App enables bank employees to securely access the NuPoint core system from their tablets, including NuPoint’s Customer View. Through the Customer View option, branch employees gain a 360-degree view of each customer with whom they interact, including demographics, recent transactions and unique alerts for each of the customer’s accounts.

In addition to working with the existing NuPoint core solution, the app integrates directly with CSI’s Secure Wireless and Mobile Device Management solutions to ensure all customer information is adequately protected both in and out of the branch. For users leveraging the app outside the branch, the Customer View option also integrates with Google Maps to provide an exact location for customers while in the field.

CSI’s NuPoint is a comprehensive, customizable core banking platform. By leveraging CSI’s infrastructure, resources and expert support, banks eliminate the need for expensive hardware and software investments for in-house systems, while also greatly enhancing internal reporting capabilities. Furthermore, with the addition of the NuPoint App, banks can now enable their employees to take a more hands-on approach to serving customers by providing convenient access to vital information anywhere their tablet goes.

“With our customers seeking to improve the service experience through technology, we saw a clear opportunity to leverage the efficiency and mobility of tablets to enhance the way financial institutions interact with their customers,” said Steve Powless, chief executive officer of CSI. “The introduction of the NuPoint App for iPad complements our existing Tablet Services, which were already available on Windows 8 devices, and further amplifies them to provide an additional access point to the robust customer data available through NuPoint.”
