FIS’s IBS core banking system gains new taker, National Bank Holdings

National Bank Holdings, a US-based holding company of a group of local community banks, is implementing new core banking software, IBS from FIS. In addition, it is also deploying FIS’s internet and mobile banking applications and a cheque imaging system, Check Image.

National Bank Holdings has three banks under its group umbrella, NBH Bank. These banks comprise Bank Midwest in Kansas and Missouri, Hillcrest Bank in Texas and Community Banks of Colorado. Together, they form a network of 97 outlets.

NBH Bank also offers commercial finance, energy banking, food and agribusiness banking, and government and non-profit financing.

The contract with FIS was inked in late 2014.

The IBS solution, which stands for Integrated Banking Services, stems from another US developer, Metavante, which was taken over by FIS in 2009.
