Safe Systems’ Zach Duke Named President of Association for Financial Technology (AFT)

ALPHARETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Safe Systems, a national provider of fully-compliant IT and security services for community banks and credit unions, announced that Zach Duke, executive vice president of Business Development at Safe Systems, has been named president of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT).

During AFT’s September 17th board meeting, Zach Duke was unanimously voted in as president of AFT, succeeding past president, Xan Kasprzak. Duke joined the AFT board of directors in 2014 and has served as vice president and program director, overseeing the summit committee for the past year. In this new role, Duke will lead the volunteer board of directors as they work to create a strong 2018 strategic plan for the association.

“Zach has been a very active member of AFT’s board of directors for the past three years and is a great choice to take the helm as our association president,” said Xan Kasprzak, vice president of Risk Management and Client Services at Ensenta. “AFT will benefit tremendously from the proven experience and industry expertise he will bring with him to this new position and we look forward to his leadership in the role.”

Duke’s term as president of AFT will last for one year, and he will continue to contribute to the association’s scholarship committee and other initiatives.
