Bob Ezell Elected President of AFT: New Officers and Directors Also Named

 

Columbus, OH - (September 22, 2009) - Bob Ezell, Vice President of Product Marketing for Computer Services, Inc., Paducah, KY, was elected president of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT) at the organization's 38th Annual Meeting held September 13-15 in Tucson, Arizona.

 AFT is the industry's fastest growing, technology-focused association. Its dynamic membership collectively serves more than 80% of the entire banking, thrift and credit union market in the US, and includes the most trusted names in financial technology. These companies come together twice a year to discuss industry trends and promote high standards of professionalism in the planning, development, implementation, and applications of technology in the financial services industry.

 "I am delighted with the election of Bob Ezell as our President for 2010. He is deserving of the honor and well qualified for the role. Bob has served as a Director for the past three years and has contributed in so many ways to the success of our organization", said James Bannister, longtime AFT Executive Director.

 "Bob has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and is highly respected by his peers," Bannister continued. "AFT is in very capable hands going into next year.  Aside from his contributions to AFT, Ezell has been with CSI for over 21 years and is a 25 year veteran in the financial services industry. As Vice President of Product Marketing, he is responsible for the development and marketing of CSI's growing list of products and services. Ezell graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science and MBA and is a graduate of Leadership Paducah.

 David Foss, President of ProfitStars, Dallas, TX was appointed Vice President and Kevin Tweddle, COO, Bank Intelligence Solutions, Fiserv, was appointed Treasurer at the Tucson meeting. Others elected to the association's Board of Directors for three year terms are: Brian Otte, SVP of Corporate Development, Perimeter eSecurity; Kelli Schultz, SVP of Business Development, iPay Technologies; and Tom Shen, Board Member, CBG Holdings.

 Returning AFT Board members are: Randy Fluitt, EVP, Payment Systems, Fidelity National Information Services; Mark Heys, VP/National Sales Manager, Fiserv; Terry McMullen, General Manager - E Services, Jack Henry & Associates; and Steve Proud, Vice President, RDSI Banking Systems. David O'Malley, SVP & General Manager, Open Solutions, will serve as Immediate Past President.

 The organization's 2010 Spring Meeting is scheduled for March 14-16, 2010 at the Disney Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
