The following two positions are available:
Public Health Sanitarian or SIT for Generalist Program
Public Health Sanitarian or SIT for Sewage and Water Program

Primary Responsibilities:
Provides enforcement and consultation of state and local environmental health programs and regulations Generalist Program Sanitarian’s are primarily responsible for food programs, housing, schools, public swimming pools & spas, rabies inspections Sewage and Water Program Sanitarian’s are responsible for enforcement and inspections relating to residential sewage and private water systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be registered in the State of Ohio as Sanitarian-in-Training or Registered Sanitarian; must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and have good written and oral communication skills; must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
SALARY:
Beginning Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
SIT/$17.22 -$21.41 hourly plus full WCHD benefits
RS/$18.98-$23.82 hourly plus full WCHD benefits
