Summer Intern - Sanitarian-in-Training/Registered Sanitarian

Clermont County Board of Health

Type:  Full Time, Temporary-Summer 2020
Rate: $16.35 -$20.00/hour
Deadline to Apply:  January 26, 2020

Job Duties: This is a full time internship in the Environmental Health Division and the duties will include but not be limited to:

• Conduct inspections and complaint investigations on swimming pools/spas, body art facilities, campgrounds and institutions
• Investigate animal bite reports of the Rabies Prevention Program
• Prepare and document inspection reports; maintain accurate files and other office records

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Registered Sanitarian or Sanitarian in Training License or be able to obtain a Sanitarian-in-Training License in the State of Ohio
• Required to have basic computer skills, including e-mailing, Microsoft office suite and the ability to learn new computer software
• Must be able to work with public on daily basis
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Required to have regular and predictable attendance
