AOHC’s Tuition Reimbursement Program--Application Period has Closed

The Tuition Reimbursement Program will come to an end in June 2025 under the current federal grant. We are pleased to announce that this program provided more than $3 million in reimbursement to nearly 600 local health department staff from 91 different health districts.

As the program winds down, we have stopped taking new applications, effective April 23, 2025, in order to process all of the applications received to date and assure the use of all remaining grant funds.

IMPORTANT: 

• Any applicants who have submitted all of the necessary paperwork except grades for courses currently underway, will be approved to receive reimbursement as long as final grades are submitted no later than July 5, 2025. 
• Any applicants whose applications have been submitted but are incomplete will need to submit all required paperwork, except for grades for courses currently underway, no later than June 10, 2025. 
• For all applicants with applications in process, all coursework needs to be completed no later than June 30, with grades submitted no later than July 5, 2025. 

For everyone approved in this final quarter, reimbursement will be issued as soon as AOHC receives the final grant funds from ODH in late July/early August.
