Pay Range: $58,531.20 - $79,206.40
The Community Development Specialist II will evaluate methods and monitor best practices in order to effectively perform outreach with community institutions to be engaged in collaboration for projects or programs. Facilitates collaboration and communication between residents, neighborhood associations, community institutions, and the City organization to ensure implementation of community initiatives. Develops programs and projects including grants management, real estate development, capital budgeting, economics, urban planning and design, architecture, engineering and human relations. Organizes and manages capital improvement projects, housing rehabilitation and development projects, programs and services that will revitalize existing housing stock, create new housing, and/or enhance the physical environment within the neighborhoods. Such programs and projects typically involve the use of and compliance with CDBG, HOME, ESG and Low Income Housing Tax Credits funds.
