Conference connection: AMVETS coming to Phoenix VA for Town Hall
Last month at AZSA’s Annual Conference you heard the inspiring story of Sherman Gillums Jr., Chief Strategy Officer of American Veterans (AMVETS). This month, AMVETS is hosting a town hall meeting at the Phoenix VA Hospital.
This month, AMVETS wants to hear from you. This Heal American Veterans Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity for service members, veterans, and family members to talk about their experience with the VA in Phoenix and their access to healthcare options. AMVETS is one of the largest Veterans advocacy organizations and they want to hear from all involved to help improve service, care, and overall quality of life for the American Veterans who served our country.
