Central Ohio Jobless Rates Improve and Lead the State

The jobless rates in Ohio’s metro areas began to recover in May from the pandemic, but rates still are two or three times where they were before the coronavirus struck.

Columbus and the state’s other metro areas have recovered a portion of the jobs that they lost during the pandemic.

But there is a long way to go to get to where Ohio’s cities were just a few months ago.
