Our district trustee to the OOA, Kristen J. Conrad-Schnetz, DO accepted the nomination to represent Ohio as the First Vice President to the American Osteopathic Association. With her acceptance of this nomination, our district will be receiving nominations for the Cleveland District Trustee to the OOA. Current (paid) members can nominate themselves or someone else for this role.
The responsibilities of the district trustee involve a commitment to attend ALL meetings of the OOA board which are held quarterly on Saturdays (4 times/year) in Columbus, Athens and Cleveland. The candidate should plan to attend these meetings in person. It is a voluntary position, and the trustee will provide reports to the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine's Board as well as updates to membership as needed. This role requires the trustee to remain a member in good standing of both the OOA and the Cleveland district.
