Celebrate National ASC Month with CASA
This August, CASA joins the nationwide celebration of National ASC Month. This is a time to recognize the critical role that ASCs play in delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective surgical care.
CASA continues to tell this story to policymakers, the public, and healthcare partners – building awareness about how ASCs offer faster recovery times and reduced healthcare costs, while transforming the patient experience for the better in communities across our state.
- Access to Care: ASCs increase access and reduce waiting times so that patients can have surgery in a safe, comfortable environment.
- Affordability: By streamlining operations, ASCs lower costs for patients, insurers, and the healthcare system.
- Quality & Safety: National studies show ASCs consistently achieve excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction rates.

This August, CASA encourages all our member ASCs to get involved:
- Patients: Ask your patients if they will share quotes or testimonials about their positive ASC experience. We’d like to collect these quotes to use in outreach and education.
- ASC Professionals: Recognize and celebrate your team’s hard work.
- Community Leaders & Policymakers: Invite community leaders to visit your center so they can see firsthand how ASCs are improving access to affordable, high-quality surgical care.
