Construction begins on I-270/I-71 interchange on Columbus' North Side

Construction on the Interstate 270 and Interstate 71 interchange on Columbus' North Side is officially underway, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation spokesperson.

Crews started work in June, installing black netting on bridges in the interchange scheduled for replacement, ODOT spokesperson Hannah Salem said.

The project calls for the replacement of the bridge commonly referred to as the "Graffiti Bridge," as well as the sanitary line underneath it.
