CSCA 2023 Convention - Argumentation and Forensics Interest Group Reminders

Hello Friends,

The deadline for submissions for this year’s CSCA is around the corner—October 7th! I would love two things from you and from your colleagues…

1. Please consider submitting your work and ideas! I would the thrilled to have some submissions that speak to our very important conference theme. Beyond that, anything you have in the forms of completed papers, ideas for research or discussion panels, or other types of sessions should find its way to our submission site before next week. Please share this with colleagues who may not be members of CSCA, and/or your students who can join us at the conference. I am happy to help facilitate panels. Reach out to me if you have questions or ideas.
2. If any of you are willing to serve as reviewers and/or chairs or respondents, please let me know. I want to begin the review process very soon after the submission deadline to get ahead of a very busy late October/early November in my world. I would love to hear from you if you can help in any of these roles.

I look forward to seeing many of you in New Orleans for NCA, and definitely in St. Louis for Central States! I’m looking forward to being part of the welcoming committee when  you all converge on my town!
