Call for Graduate Student Reviewers for Communication Studies
Communication Studies is launching a 3rd Reviewer Student Program. This program is intended for advanced PhD students to learn how the publishing process works from an insider perspective and to gain experience reviewing manuscripts. The editor will share what their role is in the publishing process, describe how a manuscript moves from submission to publication, and discuss the importance of the peer review process. Student reviewers will be mentored through meetings with the editor and editorial board members as well as a training session on peer reviewing with Taylor and Francis. Meetings will be held via Zoom. PhD students who are in their third year + past comprehensive exams and those who have access to Zoom are eligible to participate. Student reviewers will be assigned 1-3 reviews during the academic year.
