As we enter the final months of 2022, we want to thank everyone for your ongoing participation in CPIM.
As a reminder, if eligible, please file your Notice of Exemption in MyCPIM. If you still need credit hours for 2022, the Ohio Treasurer’s office will be offering two additional webinar opportunities in the coming weeks (see below). In addition, MyCPIM’s online course library is up-to-date and offers a variety of opportunities to earn CPIM credit.

Banker Roundtable on Public Funds & Government Finance

This panel discussion, organized by the Ohio Bankers League, will cover all aspects of the relationship between county treasurers, local government fiscal officers, and banks. The panel will focus on the current banking landscape and trends, banking services and products, and how best to interact with banks. Additionally, bankers will discuss the various options fiscal officers have to invest local funds. The panel will also cover hot topics in the industry such as cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and the Ohio Pooled Collateral System (OPCS). REGISTER HERE

Commercial Paper

The session will focus on commercial paper and banker's acceptances as eligible short-term investment alternatives. Presenters will discuss the Ohio Revised Code and other policy considerations, credit agencies and risk, and various methods of purchasing commercial paper. REGISTER HERE
