New Scholarship Program Available from the MICA Young Professionals Group
Participation Criteria
- Nominees must be employed by a MICA Member Company
- Nominees must be 40 years of age or under OR have 5 or fewer years of experience in the insulation industry
Application Deadline
Recipients will be notified in August.
About the Scholarship Program
MICA believes firmly in encouraging the next generation of the insulation industry to participate and be heard. In order to facilitate this participation, the Young Professionals Committee has developed this Scholarship Program to offset the costs of attending the annual MICA Fall Business Meetings.
Scholarships will be awarded annually as funds permit and distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the Young Professionals Committee Meetings that are held in conjunction with all MICA meetings and events they attend. Scholarship funds may be applied to costs related to the MICA Annual Fall Business Meeting.
Scholarship Categories
Each year, one recipient from each membership category will be selected:
- Merit Shop Contractor Members
- Union Shop Contractor Members
- Associate Members

This program is funded by donations from MICA members. If you would like to contribute to supporting the next generation of industry leaders, donations are welcome.
