Dear Division Members,
Thank you to those of you who supported the division by submitting your work to this years conference. As many of you may know, our acceptance rate this year was low based on number of submissions and on the low number of slots given by the conference planners. This year we were given 5 regular slots, one of which is traditionally occupied by the business meeting. This meant 4 slots for panels and competitive papers submitted.
The division would like to panel a variety of work representing the diverse number of scholars working in philosophy of communication. To enhance our chances of having a greater number of slots next year, please encourage friends and colleagues to join our division. Our number of members matters.
