“Innovate”:  To make changes in something established, especially by introducing new ideas, methods, or activities. To create transformation, revolution, metamorphosis.

The Community College Interest Group invites completed papers, panels, and round table discussions that focus on how we have innovated and how we need to innovate to remain relevant, cutting-edge, and unique regarding the roles of communication departments, programs, students, and faculty play in diverse missions and objectives within community colleges. In what ways does our teaching, service, and scholarship keep community college faculty at the forefront of communication education? What opportunities exist for community college faculty to innovate with our pedagogy, service, research, and practice in the communication studies?
