CALL FOR PAPERS
Theory and Methodology Interest Group
Eastern Communication Association
111th Annual ECA Convention
April 1-5, 2020
Hyatt Regency Baltimore, Baltimore, MD
The Theory and Methodology Interest Group is requesting paper and panel submissions for the 111th Annual ECA Convention in Baltimore, MD. The convention theme, Harboring Innovation, stresses the call to innovate, or to make changes in something established, especially by introducing new ideas, methods, or activities. Furthermore, innovation creates transformation, inspires revolution, and/or instigates metamorphosis.
Consistent with the theme of this conference, this year Theory and Methodology will be especially looking for submissions that attest the continued relevance of communication theory in applied settings. Preferential slotting will be given to papers and panels that articulate the close relationships of theory to professional career development in fields such as marketing, branding, and public relations and those that offer ways to contemporize communication theories.
ECA, similar to the National Communication Association, uses Attendee Interactive to manage submissions and reviews. Please follow this link, https://ww4.aievolution.com/eca2001/index.cfm to submit your work.
