ECA VOD Interest Group Members,
This is Dan Strasser, your program planner for the Eastern Communication Association - Voices of Diversity (VOD) Interest Group. I hope you've had a chance to look at the program - 192 sessions, including the Basic Course Conference and several special events – including those programmed for VOD. The program planners across the association think there is something for everyone and hope you will be impressed by the quality of the programming. Below you will find schedule for VOD’s programming.
Registration:
This message is a reminder that everyone who attends must register, and that early registration pricing ends today, March 8th. I know you have received other communication from ECA, but I wanted to reiterate the importance of registering and being present at the conference. Save yourself some money while helping ECA provide an accurate catering count. You have until 11:59 PM tonight.

Our room block at the Hyatt is nearly sold out, and both submissions and programmed sessions are back at pre-covid levels. Be sure to book your stay soon.

Business Meeting:
Last, please make time to attend the VOD Business Meeting. We are in the re-building phase after a couple of leadership members leaving and, of course, COVID. At this point I am chair, vice-chair, secretary, executive council representative, and nominating committee representative of this Interest Group. Needless to say, if you are interested in being an active member, there is room for you, and you are most welcome.
The Business Meeting is Saturday, April 1st from 4:00-5:15 in the Calvert Room.
