Submission Deadline: October 16, 2024 11:59 (PST)
The Communication and Technology Interest Group is requesting paper and panel submissions for the 113th Annual ECA Convention in Buffalo, NY. The convention theme, “Contemporary Problems, Creative Solutions”, emphasizes the importance of addressing contemporary problems like social justice, AI, higher education, curriculum changes, current politics, workplace issues among others. As communication and technology scholars, we need to understand how technology adoption and mediated communication can amplify these problems as well as help address them. At this year’s conference we welcome individual paper and panel submissions that incorporate reunion and meeting into communication technology research, service, pedagogy, and/or practice.
Papers and panel proposals must be submitted electronically by October 16, 2024 at 11:59 PM (PST). The Communication and Technology Interest Group of ECA utilizes Attendee Interactive to manage all submissions and blind-reviews.
