As you are aware, the NECA - IIT Student Chapter is excited to participate in the upcoming Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge sponsored by NECA and ELECTRI International.  The challenge will begin in earnest in January 2025.  Prior to that time, the students have had guest presenters throughout this semester to aid in familiarizing them with various aspects of the electrical construction industry.   Milwaukee Tool is the latest industry-related entity to visit the students via an on-line presentation highlighting their particular specialties. 

The students would like to thank Patrick Hill, Territory Manager - JSS Electrical, Milwaukee Tool, for his special presentation held during the Student Chapter session on Thursday, November 14, 2024, regarding Milwaukee Tool - its storied history, its ever-changing / always adapting company environment to remain viable / valuable to the electrical contractor and the impact of AI on their their firm and the industry. He discussed various aspects of how Milwaukee Tool enhances electrical construction by its Job Site Solutions (JSS) format to aid the contractor, as well as Milwaukee Tool’s battery technology progression over the years.  For example, the RedLink Intelligence developed for battery enhancement came about in 2007 and has now advanced to the Red Lithium Forge for batteries / motors in 2023 – 2024 with its advanced thermal management and updated resistant housing.  Along with the battery innovations, AI Integration at Milwaukee Tool is most prevalent with its Hammer Drills with the Auto Stop Safety feature.  It increases safety when tools are in use.
