The program was held at the IBEW - NECA Technical Institute (INTECH) in Alsip, IL.

November 15 - 16, 2024

The IBEW-NECA Technical Institute (INTECH) coordinated a special Open House on November 15 – 16, 2024.  The Showcase & Open House featured industry vendors, tours of the school, and numerous informational sessions that featured new tools, new technology discussions, solar news, safety and code updates.  The event brought many contractors, potential apprentices, high school students, the community, in regard to learning more about the union electrical construction industry and the many opportunities offered.

The break-out schedule included the following:  Zonatherm – “Intro to Generators / Overview of NEC and Installation,” Callas Kingsley Electrical Sales, ITW CCNA – Company and Product Overview, George Mostardini, Local Union #134 Business Agent discussion on “2029 NEC Restructure," Fluke, Leviton Manufacturing – Smart Home Technology, KSA Lighting – Fixtures and Controls, Dominion Lighting / Solar / EV Stations, Milwaukee Tool – History / Safety/ New Products / Overview, Rigid / Greenlee.
