JOB DESCRIPTION:

Trade Desk Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The Trade Desk Analyst will provide primary support to the Firm’s Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, and Traders with portfolio management and trading systems, reporting, data management, trade communication and settlement, and other analytical projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide ongoing workflow and process analysis as it relates to the Investment team including, system support, trade processing, trade settlement, and other portfolio related analysis and reporting.
Serve as liaison for software support of critical systems, including coordination with third-party vendors, system upgrades, new implementations, and advocating the full functionality of each system to improve user experiences and maximize capabilities.
Monitor and maintain data feeds and updates within the Order Management System.
Serve as an additional settlement and operational support associate for critical tasks, including but not limited to, trade settlements and allocations, security setups, and system monitoring.
Partner closely with Operations peers to deliver the best outcome to the Portfolio Management and Trading teams and ultimately the client.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Asset Management experience (trade support, operations, business or systems analyst).
Background using internal and external financial systems (i.e. Bloomberg).
Strong understanding of fixed income products and securities, including mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities.
Strong technical, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to lead discussions, track issues and troubleshoot solutions.
Self-starter, efficiency-minded, independent thinker, works with minimal supervision.
Advanced-to-expert Microsoft Excel skills.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
