About the program: Charitable giving is evolving, with key changes in tax legislation, charitable programs, scholarships, and grants to individuals. This session will explore topics like gifting cryptocurrency, holding foreign assets, and the outlook for the philanthropic sector, providing valuable insights for advisors and their clients.

About the speakers: Jeffrey D. Haskell is a leading expert in private foundation law, compliance, and taxation. As Chief Legal Officer for the largest provider of private foundation services, he guides legal and tax issues for foundations and leads a team on matters like grants, investments, and compliance.

Mr. Haskell has written for Trust & Estates and other publications, speaks at industry conferences, and has taught corporate tax law at Baruch College. He holds degrees from Yeshiva University, Cardozo School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law.

Location: The Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road - Clinton Room
Free parking is available on the paved lot outside of the Fawcett center and a parking pass is required.
Parking passes are now digital! Detailed parking instructions will be sent via email to registered guests in the days leading up to the event.

Continuing Education:
FPA COH will apply for one hour of CFP credit and one hour of Ohio Insurance CE. Please arrive on time to ensure that you can sign in for CE credits.

FPA Members - $35
Student Members - No charge
Season Pass Holders - No charge
Non-Members/Guests* - $55
Student Non-Members** - $30

Guest and Student Cost Notes: 
*First Time Guests - No charge (one-time registration only). If you have previously registered for an FPA Central Ohio meeting, the non-member fee of $55 will apply.

**Student Non-Members - Students may attend up to 2 programs at no charge. After that, the cost is $30 per meeting. If this is your first or second visit, please contact admin@fpacentralohio.org to complete your complimentary registration, and your charge will be removed. Payments are non-refundable. A valid student ID is required at check-in.

Registration and Cancellation 
Please register by 12:00 PM on September 8th, 2025, as availability cannot be guaranteed after this deadline. Cancellations will be accepted until 12:00 PM on September 8th, 2025; after that, no refunds or credits will be issued.
