Oyster Farming Competition, Networking Reception & Vendor Showcase

Grab a drink and dive into a centuries‑old Maine craft: oyster farming. Then jump in—team up, get a quick demo from local pros, and go head‑to‑head in shucking, culling, and cage‑flipping challenges. We’ll score speed, finesse, and clean cuts, toss in a few surprise mini‑rounds, and let the crowd fuel the energy. Teams will chase the coveted SHUCK IT Award and serious bragging rights. Come to learn, stay to compete, leave a champion—or at least a little salty.

Sunset Ferry Tour & Lobster Bake on Peaks Island

Hop aboard a private charter for a golden hour ferry across Casco Bay—salt air and Portland’s skyline glowing as we cruise to Peaks Island. Once ashore, roll up your sleeves for a classic Maine lobster bake with all the fixings – bibs, tools, and friendly guidance provided. Come for the views, stay for the feast, and ferry back under the stars with new friends. You will not want to miss this quintessential Maine experience!
Buses to Casco Bay Terminal will leave the hotel at 5:00 pm. Ferry leaves Casco Bay Terminal at 5:30 pm. The ferry is enclosed and a bar will be available. Ferry will leave Peaks Island and return to Portland at 8:30 pm. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket as it will get chilly on the water.
