The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at Alliance Community Bank that happened around 2:30 p.m. off Route 29.
We're told the suspect was described as a short, white woman with pink hair wearing a mask and a plaid shirt.
She reportedly walked in with a box and said it contained a bomb.
Sangamon County Sheriff Jack Campbell says the woman took an unknown amount of cash from two tellers and left.
The suspect left the bank on foot and headed toward Andrew Road.
The Secretary of State Bomb Squad responded and is on scene.
