Fitchburg officials investigate alleged armed bank robbery

FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) - A Fitchburg bank was robbed Monday around 3:45 p.m., according to police.

Two suspects allegedly armed with guns entered Chase Bank at 3052 Cahill Main and demanded cash from the teller, police said.

Authorities tried to track the suspects with K9s but were unsuccessful. No one was hurt in the robbery.

Fitchburg police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Fitchburg Police Department at (608) 270-4300. People can remain anonymous by contacting Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014 or P3Tips.com. A cash reward may be given for information leading to an arrest.
