A former supervisor for the Postal Service appeared in court to face an indictment alleging theft of checks from the mail.
Benita D. Randle, 42, was charged on December 11 in District Court in St. Louis with one count of theft of mail by a Postal Service employee. Randle entered a not guilty plea during her court appearance.
According to the indictment, Randle is accused of stealing approximately 90 checks from the mail on October 31, 2023. At the time of the alleged theft, she was employed as a supervisor at the St. Louis Processing and Distribution Center in St. Louis.
