LUMBERTON, N.C. (WMBF) - Police have made an arrest in connection to a bank robbery in Lumberton Tuesday.
Officers with the Lumberton Police Department arrested Lawrence Swindell, 52, Tuesday. He is being charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, second degree kidnapping and felony conspiracy.
The Lumberton Police Department responded to a robbery at Wells Fargo Bank on North Elm Street, where the employees and witnesses reported that the suspect ran away before police arrival.
